Star of the Week

Abby was star of the week at preschool this week.

And to say that she was excited is an understatement. She was ecstatic!!!!

Monday she dressed like the star that she is and got to bring in pictures to share with the class. She wanted to bring 40 pictures but we got it narrowed down to 8. Apparently she talked and talked and talked all day about those pictures to her teachers.

Tuesday she got to bring her favorite book and for some reason she picked "Lila the Leapfrog." We haven't read it much to her but apparently it's her favorite?!?!?!

Wednesday she got to bring her favorite snack to share. Her friends all agreed that it was the best snack EVER!

Thursday she was able to bring her favorite toy/lovie to school and she brought lala. She still loves her lala!

On her last day her class sent her home with a cute little star of the week present. She thought it was pretty cool that she got starbursts!

Our little star. We love you. It's so fun watching you shine at Hilltop!

Daddy's Recognition

Daddy's finance team was recognized as a top team in his company during 2016. To celebrate this accomplishment they had a celebration dinner for him.

Way to go Daddy. You work so hard and we are so proud of you for now being in the Circle of Honor!!

New Kitchen!

Project get rid of black cabinets and black tile on fireplace is finally complete!

And I love it! Now onto the next project; the front door!

DIY head band

Ashley was getting ready for her 6 year pictures and realized she didn't have anything to wear in her hair. So she runs down, gets out her ribbons and makes a matching headband. I love tis little DIY-er!

Anna's $ plan

Store week was last week in Anna's class and she made a money plan. Besides the more stuffed animal and another American girl part, I like it! At least she is understanding the concepts of save and donate!

Daisy KOMA

Ashley and her Daisy troop went into KOMA tae kwon do for a hour long session to earn a Daisy petal. The girls had so much fun and can't wait to do it again!

Just me???

I asked Abby this past week (when it was just us two at home) if she wanted a cookie. She responds with huge eyes and smile, screaming, "Yay! My first time sissy's not know me eat cookie and they don't! Me and no sissys eat cookie with mommy! Mommy Abby Cookie!!!!" She thought it was one magical moment...
