Happy Birthday Poppy!

Last night we headed to Grammy and Poppy's house to celebrate Poppy's birthday. Leland, Eldon, Aunt Megan and Uncle Jeff came into town and we had a nice dinner and some playtime with the cousins. We even made Poppy his favorite dessert- mommy's homemade peanut butter ice cream pie. Yum!

Have I mentioned this one's ability to eat? You give her stuff she likes (popcorn, blueberries, hot dogs, mac and cheese, turkey, ham, clementines, chips or any kind, hummus) and she'll never stop!

Look who's here!

Yup, our mischievous little elf Otter! He was delivered today to our front porch by Santa. We were overly excited to see him and can't wait to see what fun he has in store for us this year!

Ashley was especially excited to see him and was talking non stop about him throughout the rest of the evening with Anna. Anna saw him, got really excited, and then went back to what she was doing. Abby also got really excited, tried to touch him (which freaked the sisters out) and proudly carried the book inside. We love Otter :)

When we got home from the Arboretum Walk Otter had managed to get himself out of the box and stuck in the chandelier. Crazy Otter!!!!

 When the girls wake up to this tomorrow, they will giggle pretty hard :) And probably eat the m & m's!

OP Arboretum Luminary Walk

The evening after Thanksgiving we went to the OP Arboretum to their Annual Luminary Walk around the gardens. It was beautiful. We had a warmer night and great company! The Horton's and Grama joined us for a long evening stroll lite by starlight and luminaries, bonfire with hot apple cider and Christmas Caroling, a Santa spotting (we didn't wait in line to see him since we had already seen him the weekend prior) and a surprise visit to the Gnome Garden which was all decorated for the holidays. It was a pretty magical night and the girls (and mommy and daddy) loved it.
