She wrote Daddy!!!!

I spelled it out for her but she did the letters all on her own!!! Good job Ash Ash!!

christmas morning present opening

After opening stockings, eating some saltine crackers and reading the note that Santa had left us (He told us to share and be nice) by the cookies he had eaten, we got to open presents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anna went through the present opening pretty quickly and would do a soft squeal in delight (she was still not feeling the best) when opening most presents. Ashley took her slow time and would open the present, then take the item out of the box, then play with it, or read it. We had to help Ashley pick up the pace sometimes! And as for Abby, she loved the mess!

 

The girls LOVED helping Abby open presents!

There is now a huge scratch on our kitchen cabinet from me trying to ride my bike inside... note to self... don't do that again!

One of the many reasons they took a while to open.... BOOKS!!!! 

  

 

Christmas hugs and Christmas smiles were had by all.....

 

It was a very magical Christmas morning (even though we were a bit under the weather!!!)

And they stayed in their Elsa and Anna costumes the rest of the morning and even into the night at Grama and Papa's!

STOCKINGS!

Princess, princess, princess was the stocking these this year and BOY did these two LOVE it :)

Abby got some bubbles :) She mostly liked the paper :)

 

When Ashley saw the candy she just kept saying over and over again, "More. More. More!" She loves her chocolate!

Do we look top notch here or what?????????? Sick mommy and daddy were trying to be on top of their game but we just couldn't muster up much enthusiasm. The kids really didn't seem to mind thought :) I was just bummed that I ate saltine's for breakfast instead of our traditional Christmas morning breakfast of homemade doughnuts.

Christmas Morning

I wish we could say we felt 100% better on Christmas morning but that wasn't the case. Rob was still hurting and we were all exhausted.

But that didn't stop us from having a good time :)

The girls were so excited to see out living room like this when they woke up....

And even more excited when they saw a ribbon on the basement door which lead to.....

Their very own Dance studio in the basement!!!!!!

The girls were VERY good this year and Santa was VERY good to them :)
