Our Painted Ornaments

I was one busy artist this Christmas! Here I am painting my salt dough ornaments. I painted the "Baby-O" heart 100% completely by myself as a gift for GIGI Stilley. As for the Santa's... mommy had fun painting. Apparently she is going to make us do the Santa's every year so she will eventually have an entire tree of just our hand print Santa's! This worries Daddy because he sees another Christmas tree around the house in the very near future!


I still have to paint the other ornaments I have at Grandma's so I can't wait :)

Stilley Christmas 1

We woke up Christmas Eve morning at Grammy and Poppy's house to have our first Christmas with them; we will have a second one when Aunt Megan, Uncle Jeff and Leo come in from Denver. We played in the morning until Aunt :aura, Uncle Aaron and Henry got there; then we ate breakfast! Grammy made her tradition (and yummy) Christmas breakfast of eggs, bacon and cinnamon rolls. It was really good. Daddy then read us the Night before Christmas and then we got to open presents!!!!

Grammy and Poppy we so good to us! We got a dollhouse with some furniture and people, lots of books (and we LOVE them!), Anna got a cute tutu pant set and Ashley got this awesome rock out guitar and piano. Aunt Laura made us the most awesome turtle stuffed animals (she is an amazing knitter) and Anna got these really cool crayons and a wipe board. Henry even made us a really cool ornaments. We have had LOTS of fun playing with our goodies the last couple of days.

Thanks Grammy, Poppy and The Aaron Stilley's! We love you!

Extended Stilley Side Christmas

On Christmas Eve Eve we celebrated Christmas with Poppy's side of the family; the Stilley's. We ate a good dinner of ham with lots of good side dishes, had the BEST punch (Anna had 4 glasses we think!) and opened presents. We then spent the night at Grammy and Poppy's house so that mommy and daddy could stay longer at the party. We had lots of fun; especially with the punch, playing with all the cousins and opening gifts of course!

With Daddy's cousin Andrew and his daughter Jordan (who is just 2 weeks older then Ashley). And yes- Ashley is doing hog nose!

27 months old

I wanted to change my monthly photo up a bit so we did (above)..... And then mommy made me take one like the last couple of months

Happy 27 months old to Me!
*Eating, Sleeping and Napping the same as last month.
*I love puzzles. I can do a 24 piece jigsaw puzzle ALL BY MYSELF!
*I also LOVE to read. I am starting to pay attention to the words on the pages and "read out loud" like mommy and daddy do with me. My favorite book right now is Beauty and The Beast and Elf on the Shelf.
*Still LOVE music and dancing. My current favorites are the same as last month and LOVE Christmas music- especially "Baby it's Cold Outside!"
*I am talking a TON! Each day mommy says I am getting clear in my pronunciation and my vocabulary is very good. I attempt pretty much anything mommy or daddy asks me to say and they love listening to me try to say encyclopedia and other really long words!
*I love my baby sister. I am really good at "trading" toys with her when she has a toy that I want. I am also getting better and better at sharing. I love when mommy puts her down for her morning nap because I get to watch Barney or World Word. Sometimes even Rudolph!
*I love TV. I wish I could watch more.
*I am still EXTREMELY independent in doing everything. It sometimes frustrates mommy and daddy and makes them nervous that I am going to be a overly perfect perfectionist when I grow up. I am big and CAN do things all by myself so why not? I dress and undress myself really well.
*Potty Training is still going REALLY well. I am pretty much good during the day but still wear a night night and nap diaper when I sleep. I have been doing really good at having dry panties on even when i am not at home.
*I think it's REALLY funny when I tooter; especially on mommy.
*I can read two words: Anna and Zoo!

I think that's all for the month. Just getting a lot better with talking! Oh and I forgot to mention that I am a chatterbox and get REALLY excited over just about anything!
