2 weeks with Fimmen Cousins

We did SO much during the two weeks that the Fimmen cousins were in town....

*Went to Deanna Rose and the Zoo

*Played in the Pool and washed Baby Dolls in grandma and grandpa's backyard
*Played with chalk
*When to the neighborhood playground and did lots of swinging (swinging in the backyard too!!)!!!

*Went to Grandma and Papa's Neighborhood Pool (they have a baby one!)
*We had lots of good lunches and treats to eat! Such yummy mac and cheese, McDonalds and Chick-fil-a!

*We watched Barney and some other movies
*We played in Grandma and Papa's playroom LOTS

*Ended the visit with Meghan's Birthday Party- Luau, Papa's BBQ, cheese dip, balloon fights, pool and pinata full of lots of goodies!
*Got our pictures taken a lot!
*Took baths in Grandma and Papa's tub!

We can't wait until the visit again!

All us Fimmen girls got to paint our toe nails for Meghan's 2nd birthday- it was my first time ever to paint my toes like mommy and it was so much fun!

The Zoo

This past week we went to the zoo with the Fimmen cousins and had so much fun! We love the zoo!!! We watched a sea lion show, walked around and saw the elephants, polar bear and all the animals in the Tropics. We wanted to see the tigers but we had to leave early because the sky was looking scary and right when we made it to the car it started pouring down rain- we were super lucky!!!!! Ashley slept most of the time and when she woke up she had exploded through her diaper- that is why she is a naked baby in some of the pics!

Happy Father's Day Daddy!

We have had a CRAZY last couple of weeks and when today came around, we were BEAT! A weekend full of family ended with time spent at both Grandparent's houses. Anna was a complete mess for most of the afternoon after her nap and it made for one exhausting Father's Day! We got horrible daddy pictures with the girls but Ashley got some GREAT ones with her daddy on their first Father's Day together!

4 Month Well Visit

Today I went and saw Dr. Austin for my 4 month well visit. She said I looked and check out to be a very healthy baby girl. She told mommy and daddy that my clogged tear duct could last until I am one but to keep massaging it and cleaning it when needed. I sure hope it clears up soon!!!!

I got some vaccine shots and was a very good girl during it. They hurt a little (especially the second one) but paci and mommy helped me feel better afterward. Dr Austin was very impressed when daddy told her that I can stand by myself while holding onto the couch, sit like a tripod for a couple of seconds, roll over both ways, and that I see so clearly from a far distance. She was also surprised that I was showing a little bit of stranger anxiety already. I really like Dr. Austin!

Fimmen Cousin Photo Shoot

Yhis past week all the Fimmen cousins went to a nearby portrait studio to attempt to get a decent picture of the 6 of us....... 151 pictures later (68 of all 6 kids) and many tears from Anna, Ashley (it was nap time!) and a big old much mouth from Meghan, these are the best we got! Notice that even Sophie the Giraffe, paci and Bunny made some pictures..... We just wish grandma would have video taped Carolyn and mommy trying to get us all to smile!!!!! :) Oh and the one where Anna is standing and looking for something- that is called BAD PARENTING. Mommy was trying to get everyone to calm down and look at the camera so she was telling everyone that Barney and Baby Bop were here..... we never did see them..... :)

The photographer threw a ball into the air and it hit the ceiling- the next 5 pics looked a lot like this one!!!! Didn't quite work the way the photographer thought it might!
