It's a hard lesson to learn BUT.....

....You can't do it all!!!!

Looks like my dreams of dying Easter eggs with my children will have to wait another year!

But I did get one step further this year compared to lats year- the eggs did get boiled!!!! Now we just have a lot of egg salad to eat :)

Easter Bunny's Visit

The Easter Bunny came to our house and brought me lots of goodies! I woke up and went on an Easter Basket hunt. Right when I walked down the stairs I saw this HUGE purple duck and went crazy! When I found my Easter basket and had so much fun opening the eggs and playing with my slinky. Then we got dressed in our princess dresses and headed to church.

 And you won't guess what I found the next day- a Little People playset the bunny had hidden by the dinner table! COOL! I just love Easter!

After Bedtime

Awwww..... pure quiet. Does anything make the time after you put the little one's down better then wine and chocolate?!?!?! Carolyn and I savored this time while in Texas!

Smiles

I have been smiling more and more! I give the best ones right after I wake up and eat. I love it when people talk in a high pitched voice- it makes me smile and even giggle/coo back!

19 months old

I am saying tons of new things and here are some of the new things that mommy and I can remember me saying:
   *When mommy asks "What is this?" If I don't know I say "this." when says asks "What is that?" I say "that."
   *new words: roll, wait, ted-dee (teddy), door, bow, egg, sock, please, bath, wash, gate, up, down
   *I call mommy's breasts and everyone else's breasts "babies."
   *YES very clearly instead of yeah
   * says "I did it!" and "whad's dis/dat?" (what's this/that)
*Favorite Books: Go Dogs Go, Green Hat, Blue Hat, Knuffle Bunny, Pooh's Bees, Goodnight Moon
*I love puzzles and am really good at the ones where you match the pictures on top of each other. I am very good at matching colors, shapes and designs!
*I love the park and playground and playing in sand.
*Can walk up and down the stairs holding onto our railing like a big girl!!!!! Scares mommy and daddy to death!
*Still love dressing up as princesses and dancing to their music.
*My favorite song right now is "Bunny Hop" and love to hop to the song! I also make my babies hop to it!
*Still sleeping around 11-12 hours at night with a bedtime of 7:30-7:45ish. I am also still taking one 1 1/2-2 hr nap around 1 in the afternoon. And I still love my sippy cups of milk int he morning and before bedtimes!
*I still LOVE baths and doing anything in the water!
*I giggle all the time and think a lot of things are REALLY funny!
*I still love Barney, Mickey and Minnie Mouse!
*I have three of my fang teeth in and the other one is going to pop through any day.

I think that's it for now! Oh yeah- I love to make bunches of funny "looks!"

9 hours

YEA for me! I slept 9 straight quiet hours!!!!!!! I went to bed at 8:30 and woke at 5:30. Mommy is considering that as sleeping through the night!!!! Since I was 5 weeks old, I had been sleeping anywhere from 5 1/2-8 hours at a time so mommy and daddy were pumped to sleep 8 hours straight last night! :)

What a big almost 11 week old I am! fingers crossed that I keep doing it!
