SWING!

I love my pink cinderella baseball bat that grandma bought me the last time we were in Kansas City. I know how to hold it right and I swing it around like a windshield wiper. Daddy tries to get me to hit balls but I don't know what he is thinking.... you're not supposed to hit things with my magic wand!

Feed me!!!

I LOVE FOOD! I LOVE ALL FOOD!!!!! I really love when mommy lets me try and feed myself with a spoon. It rarely happens, but when it does it is a mess!!! Sometimes I get the spoon in my mouth and I get SO excited that I forget to take it out and start clapping!!! I really can't wait until mommy and daddy let me try and feed myself with a spoon more often! I am really good at finger-feeding myself :)

How much wood can a woodchuck chuck???

That's right.... I am just like my cousin Kate!!!!

From the moment I could stand up in my crib, Mommy thought she was being SO smart and bought and installed a teether for the side of my crib. It is supposed to protect my crib from my bite marks when I chew on it..... BUT..........

......I chewed on the sides of the crib instead!!!!! I give mommy enough warning that I want out of the crib by crying but sometimes she just doesn't listen to me... so I get so frustrated that I bite my crib. Mommy isn't too upset with me because the side rails go away when this becomes my big girl bed so the bed is still in good shape.

I just wish she's take the teether off so I could eat me some wood :)

9 month well visit

Yesterday I went to my new doctor, Dr. Kinnane, for my 9 month checkup. She's no Dr. Austin but I like her mostly because she didn't poke me with any shots! Except for a tiny poke on my big toe to check for anemia and I was a-ok to go :) And when she tried to c heck my ears- I HATE it when they do that but it's nothing a handful of Gerber puffs and cheese puffs can't cure :)

She said I looked very healthy, was getting in my 5th and 6th tooth very soon (now mommy understands why I have been super clingy lately!), and that mommy and daddy are taking good care of me. Mommy and daddy were worried because I have been grinding my teeth but she says that is very normal and for them to not make a big deal out of it (that is that SAME thing I have been trying to tell them!) She also said I can pretty much eat anything except things that I would choke on, peanut butter and cow's milk. She reminded mommy and daddy to brush my teeth (they haven't been doing the best job of that :))

Here are my numbers!

Weight: 18 lbs 5 ounces: 36 %tile
Height: 28 and 3/8 inches: 74%tile
Head Circumference: 43 1/4 cm: 25 %tile.

Mommy started calling me her string bean yesterday... I think she's jealous of my weight to height ratio :) I think she needs to feed me MORE num a nums :)

Mommy and daddy say that I am such a ham.... what do you think???

The photographer said that I was the most cooperative and happy baby she has had in a LONG time :) Mommy and daddy were super proud of me! Maybe it was because I took 2 naps that were BOTH over one hour long today. Hummmmmm :)
