Canada! Day 1! Travel and Fireworks

Over Memorial Day weekend, we took a plane to Detroit, rented a car and crossed the border bridge into Canada. Then we drove 3 /2 hours to the Canadian Niagara Falls. As we drove we saw lots of open land; farmland. And the girls played with Barbies- the entire time!

We stopped at a little town on the way to get groceries and some dinner...

And got to our AMAZING room to view the nightly illumination and fireworks of the falls. What a view!!!!

Falcon Softball

One more game is left for Ashley this season. She has had a GREAT year and grown tremendously in softball. She is so fun to watch!

Best Friends- "Ashley I have missed you SOOOOOOOOOO much!" and then grabs her hand.

Second base SUPER STAR! Not many balls get past this one. A ball was hit pretty hard and she caught it after a tricky bounce and threw a great toss to first base (Can't believe I have a great photo of that play!). Would have gotten her out if the ball would have been caught on first.

 

Batter Up! She's got a great swing!

She was catcher during the hottest game of the year and 0 complaints! She even kept the ball in front of her most of the time; she really tries her best!
