First Communion Friends

The first weekend in May was First Communion for Anna's friends. Anna wanted to go to the service and celebrate their special day; so we did.

Ashleys ETC

Ashley was bored so she started creating a gift for me. Carolyn, Clare and Anna saw her making it and asked to join. So under Ashley's direction, they created this for me. It is now hanging in our kitchen for all to see.

SRE 5K and Carnival

Towards the end of April, SRE had it's annual carnival and first ever community 5K. 

Anna and Rob ran a mile in the 5K (Ashley and I were at soccer skills). Anna was not a fan of running but at least she finished.

After the 5K was the carnival full of fun! We were in charge of creating the photo booth- LOVE!

 

Anna just makes me laugh...

The other night I told Anna the score of her softball game and she responded with, "Wow. Wait.... how do you score points in softball?" I said, "Are you serious?" And she stared blankly at me, so I told her that teams score when players cross home plate. She jumped up and down and said, "so I scored for my team today????? Yippppeeeee!"

And I later found out that she told Rob after the game that she hit her first home run today because she finally ran across home plate!!!!

Should I mention this is her 3rd yer playing softball?
