Michigan- Day 1- Pyramid Point
In mid July we drove up to Michigan to spend sometime with Rob's family and to see this area:
Real hikers wear robes.....
Despite the wind we got a pretty good pic!
Blazing their own trails.... these girls love a hiking challenge!
The rest of the day was spent chilling at the house and checking out our "hood" for the week!
It was beautiful.
Our first stop in this area (Leelanau Peninsula) was Pyramid Point. It was overcast and windy but wow was it pretty. Signs warmed us not to run down the dune since it could take hours to climb back up. It was hard for the girls the resist so they ended up finding another way halfway down to Lake Michigan. I told them to turn around since who knows how long we would have been down there :)

Swim Awards
We missed the end of the season party since we immediately left for Michigan following the swim championship.
Ashley was awarded the mean speed award and Anna the super stream liner award. They were really excited to come back to medals and Anna even got championship ribbons for 2 of her events!
Swim Championships
Feels like forever ago, but in mid July these 2 competed in the Southland Swim association champion swim meet. Their team took 5th out of 8th place and they each did awesome!
So proud of these girls with their swimming!
