Easter Eggs

The rest of Easter was complete with playing around the house, mommy cooking, dying Easter eggs and spending lots of time with Grammy and Poppy.

And we topped it all off with the most Amazing homemade lemon meringue pies. YUM!

Easter Morning

We had a great Easter!

The Easter bunny had brought them baskets full of goodies and left them each a card. The card then gave them clues to find hidden items around the house. We had so much fun doing the scavenger hunt and REALLY hope the bunny does the same thing for us next year (he tends to change things up).

Then after an exciting morning of hunting, we went to church followed by a delicious brunch at Bravo with the Hortons.

Ashley Field Trip to Dinosaur Museum

A couple weeks ago I went on Ashley's field trip to the Prairie Fire Dinosaur Museum. It was pretty cool and we plan to go back this summer! Just love hanging out with this one at school :)

First Chapter Book

She's been ready for some time to start on chapter books and finally threw all caution to the wind and attempted to read one. And she did awesome! Now onto Chapter books for this little book worm!

Good Friday Urban air date with mommy and daddy!

Daddy had the day off on Good Friday and Abby's swim class was cancelled so the three of us hit up Urban Air jumparoo. This little one had a blast; there hasn't been many times where it's just Abby AND BOTH parents!!!!

Kindgarten round up helper!

So proud of this sweet face! She was on the morning announcements and got the golden sticker for helping the incoming Kindergarten class at Kindergarten Round Up.

Can't believe she's going to be a first grader soon!
