Emma's Birthday Party

Last weekend both girls went to Emma's birthday party. Face painting, bird house painting and a dance party. So much fun!!!!

Lunch at Target

Last week these two had an impromptu lunch at Target after school. And they LOVED it!

They also got a special drink since Abby had earned 4 stickers in a row on her sticker chart!!!

The Giving Brick

Last week during Ashley's soccer, Anna, Abby and I went to help sort lego bricks for a charity called the giving brick. This one man charity collects donated legos and recreates full 1000 piece sets to give to foster children for Christmas. It was pretty cool to hear his story. With our help he plans to be able to give 55 foster children a complete set this holiday season. Amazing.

Labor Day Pool Fun

We celebrated the rest of Labor Day with a day at the neighborhood pool. After a good 4 hours at the pool surrounded by neighbors, we headed to the Farrell's for a neighborhood pop up BBQ. Such a good way to say goodbye to a great summer of swimming at the pool!

Grinter Sunflower Field

Early Labor Day morning we headed to the sunflowers. Even though we wished we could have hung out longer, we did enjoy the 30-45 minutes we were there. Next year we hope to picnic there and just hang out. Such a gorgeous place!

Abby was grumpy and DID NOT want to cooperate. She made me grumpy but luckily Daddy was there to save the day (and a bribe with Gatorade helped too!)

The sun sure was bright!!!!!!! So after a few failed attempts and went into the shade...

And they were able to open their eyes again!!!!
