Labor Day Weekend Boat Fun at Grammy and Poppys!

This Saturday we headed out on Grammy and Poppy's boat. Leland, Eldon and Sylvie were there and we had so much fun. These girls are such water bugs and loved every minute in the lake. Abby enjoyed climbing up and down the ladder and swimming in her bubble in the middle of the lake. Ashley was happy as a bug on her noodle and float. Anna was crazy doing cannonballs off the top of the seats off the boats and swimming without a float in the lake. They all loved swimming under the boat and just floating in the water.

Urban Farming Guys

Saturday morning we headed into downtown to help in the Urban Family Guys garden. We weeded garden beds and harvested okra for over 2 hours and loved it. Abby mostly sat on a blanket in the shade and read books. When I asked the girls if they wanted to leave they shouted, "No!" Looks like another trip to the Urban Farming Guys needs to be arranged! They said they loved helping the plants breathe and making them happy :) Anna also met a "new best friend," a bug. She is turning into quite the bug girl!

Daisy Pool Party

Friday night we had Anna's Daisy Troop over for a pool party. The pool party continued to our backyard until the parents had to drag the girls home. These girls have so much fun together (And so do the moms!!!) :)

Abby and Swim Lessons

Abby started back up with swim lessons and loved it.

She is swimming with Coach Heather again and did great. She gave her a little resistance but did a great job listening and doing what she was supposed to. So glad to see her responding to other adults in a a positive way!

Mommy/Abby Day

Since Abby only earned 7/8 stars on her sticker chart for pick up/ drop off she didn't get to go get the donut she so badly wanted. So instead she helped me with some chores around the house and then spent the last hour doing what she wanted; a walk with Peanut and Chalk.

Fingers crossed for 6/6 sticker stars next week!

So tired....

So tired that she feel asleep in Anna's school pick up line...

Poor monkey still adjusting to school 4 days a week and no naps :(

I would let her nap but then she'd stay up til 10! So we will survive!!!!!
