Zoo

We didn't think we'd make it to the zoo this summer but when I woke up today and saw the high at 1 pm was 82, I made plans to take Clare an Carilyn with us for a girls day at the zoo. My mom called as were heading out and she and Kate joined us. Super gorgeous day for the zoo and so much fun with friends, cousins, sisters and googah!

We really have to get here more often... Abby LOVES this place!

CHOO CHOO!!!

Ashley and Abby were not excited about sharing the elephant with the others... so they pouted until they got a chance on the elephant. When Abby had the chance she declined....

We rode this thing 4 times and they could have ridden it more.

I rode the lady bug!!!

Pizza at the Penguin Cafe.

KOALAS!!!! Too bad they were sleeping while we were there. Sleeping but CUTE!

Current and Future Falcons meeting a falcon :)

After the zoo we went to Sonic happy hour because we were SO thirsty, to the library to check out movies for the road trip and then home to a nice homecoked dinner that Grammy and Poppy brought to our house. Why I didn't get a picture of that, I don't know!!! Next time :)

Kindergarten Camp!

Today Ashley started Kindergarten camp. It is a camp her school offers incoming Kindergarteners to come in for 3 days prior to the start of school for 1 1/2 hours each day. While there they grow comfortable with the school, do fun activities and see faces that will be familiar once school starts.

Today Ashley said camp was SUPER! I walked her in, checked her in, gave her kises and she was off! Can't believe my little one is heading to Kindergarten here in a week or so.... mind blown.

She said they sang songs, there were 16 girls in her class, she had a teacher with long hair and she made a construction paper bus with her and mommy in it. She can't wait to go back tomorrow; unfortunately she will miss Wednesday becaise we will be driving to OHIO! But this little one is more then ready for school to start!

3 year old pics

Before we left for Colrado we finally went to get Abby's 3 year old pictures.

And for the most part they went like this.....

So when we ended up with a picture like this I was beyond thrilled!!!! Just tok a lot of bribing to do and letting her hold onto her lollipop in her picture.

This little thing is truely a true 3 year old :)
