T Bones Game

The Friday of cheer camp, the girls were invited to cheer the pregame at the T-bones game. Excited as can be, all three loved it and nailed it! Abby was pretty darn cute watching Anna the entire time and copying her moves. So proud of all 3 for getting out on that huge field and performing (I would have never done it at their ages!!!)

Cheer Camp

3 weeks ago, Anna, Ashley and Abby attended Lynn Obrien Cheer Camp and LOVED it! Even though on the first day Abby laid on the floor the entire 2 1/2 hours and the second day sat in a chair the entire 2 1/2 hours, she eventually was bribed by the fact that she wouldn't get her pom pom unless she started participating and listening to coach Lynn. Day 3 came and Abby was all about camp!

On the last day the girls put on a performance for the parents at pick up. All three of them were adorable! Abby even did the dance, cheers and a kick!

After each week, awards are given out and Anna was thrilled the be the only one in the camp to get Captian (she was the Captain on the squad), Ashley got All-Star Cheerleader and Abby got Camp Cutie.

It was such a good experience; all 3 want to cheer in the Fall.....

They were all fine and dandy at drop off.... Abby was like see ya later lady!!!!

If you look at the back row center you see proof that Abby actually DID cheer at camp!!! So proud of this girl who is now running all over the place saying, "I. LOVE. CHEER!"

Swim Meet 3

Last night the girls had their 3rd swim meet of the season at Mills Farm. Ashley got a personal best in the free style at 40.37 sec (even though she jumped in and swam her race against another girl during the timer "practice" beep). But no worries, they still got her time! She also got a personal best in the backstroke at 37.82 (placed 25 out of 29) and in the free relay 2:28.06. I was hoping that she would be able to try butterfly at the meet (she's been practicing it for 2 weeks now at practice and almost gets it) but she wasn't slotted to race it. She told me she was relieved because butterfly is not her favorite, it's tiring and she's slow. I told her she does better then her momma at the stroke and she smiles :) So proud of this little pup! She told me this morning that she loves swimming and meet days are her favorites!!!!!

Anna got her personal best in butterfly at 33.91 sec (and placed 5th). She also swam in the freestyle at 25 sec, back at 29.41 sec, medley relay (they were DQed) at and free relay (they placed 3rd) at 1:46.35.

No pictures are the meet; Momma wanted to sit back and enjoy the meet while Daddy volunteered as a timer during the first half.
