Birthday Dinner

We were so excited to meet Grammy and Poppy, Grama and Papa and the Horton's at Park Place by Town Center for an outdoor birthday dinner at Ingredient's outside patio and dessert at Paciugo. But our plans were shattered when we pulled up at 5 pm and the entire green space was reserved for a party.

So Plan B. We didn't have a plan B.

And soon enough later we found ourselves on the roof top at Coach's Bar and Grill. It was beautiful out, we had some space to ourselves for the kids to be loud and it was taco night.

The family hung out, opened presents, ate dinner and ate cake. Anna had a blast and that was the most important part! Happy Birthday Banana!

And then Ashley had to get her picture taken with everyone as well :)

My Little Birthday Girl

Before Anna's birthday dinner she insisted on posing for several birthday pictures in front of the decorated mantle. Of course, I ate up this opportunity!!!!!

Gymnastics

These two are loving gymnastics! They are about 6 weeks into their 12 weeks of lessons and look so forward to the time to be with coach Becky, Kendall and Lainey. These 4 girls and their coach have the entire gym to themselves. It is awesome!

Birthday Mid-morning

After donuts we went to Anna's 2nd to last speech class (more to come on that) and then played on the PAT playground for quite some time. These girls LOVE this place :)

Then after playing we stopped for a mid morning birthday snack of cheeze-its and a Sonic cherry slush (and had a surprise visit from Grama!!)

Birthday morning

5:45 am

A door slams open wide.

"I am really 5! It's really my happy birthday! I am 5!" comes running down the hall and jumps into our bed.

"Mommy! Daddy! Belle the birthday fairy came and brought me balloons. I am 5!"

I try and convince her to give me 5 year old cuddles but she was a live wire who could not wait to celebrate all day! And that we did :)
