Washing Feet

Using the hoses to wash their feet all by themselves after being on the beach was BY FAR their favorite thing about beach walks!!!! And the water was COLD!

Walks on the Beach

By the end of the trip the girls LOVED walking on the beach. At first Ashley keep asking why we were walking and both would complain about being tired and worn out but by the end of the week we were keeping up with them!!!

I can not tell you how many times Ashley yelled "Guys wait up!!!" at us. The child had serious "I need to pick up every seashell (she called them mushrooms) and clog up every hole clamdiggers were digging." It was really unreal how long the first walks took.

By the end of the trip we were taking at least 2 hour long walks a day and loving every minute of it :)

Anna was always talking about her "magic" she was making with the sand. We have no clue what she was talking about :)

Naps

Why don't my 2 big girls nap in the car? 13 hours in a car and neither of them got any shut eye. Abby slept great during traveling though :) I just wish they'd realize that the car ride goes faster when you sleep. But anyway.....

I am so proud and happy to report that Anna and Ashley took 5 naps while on vacation!!!!!!! Unheard of!!!! We must have been super successful in wearing them out because it has seriously been since Christmas that Ashley has taken more then 2 naps in a week.

Since they took naps, they were able to stay up late most nights. Which allowed us to go crabbing, see sunsets, go night swimming twice and actually enjoy all that the beach has to offer at night.

Now how to get them to sleep at home......

Rainy Days on the Beach

We had one rainy morning and one rainy evening while at the beach. But don't worry, we had NO problem finding things to do in the condo!!! We went to the indoor pool, played yahtzee, watched cartoons and played all around the house. Anna was actually so happy to be able to stay in the condo and play during the rain; earlier in the week before nap she had lost it and told us, "you NEVER let me play standing up!!!!!!!" Could be one of my favorite quotes of the week :)

Luckily the weather was fabulous for us and got rainy towards the end of our trip when we were ready for some R & R around the condo :)

Neighborhood pool!!!

Since all three girls took fabulous naps this afternoon we made it to the neighborhood pool for the first time tonight. And it was FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were the only ones there and it was glorious! I love how our neighborhood pool never has many peeps!!!

You won't believe it; Anna can touch the ground and on her tippy toes her entire head is out of the water. Here she is flat footed!!!

 Abby giggled the night away at this beach ball that was left behind by a neighbor. I hope it's there to next time we go- she loved it!

Can't wait to go back :) I think it's going to be a huge pool summer being that all 3 of these girls are little fishes!!!!

Birthday Beach Baby!

On Abby's birthday we took a LONG walk on the beach- she was the birthday beach baby!!! This child LOVES to eat sand :)
