Community Garden

This past Saturday we have plans with our church to go and help at a community garden. Anna had mentioned a couple times before leaving that her belly kind of hurt but we loaded the car and decided to head downtown. As soon as we pull up to the garden, we step outside and Anna pukes and pukes and pukes. Poor baby girl. Luckily Miss Brenda (The Children's Ministry Director) has an extra puke bag in her car for the ride home.... Anna literally sat like this the entire ride:

So we all got back in the car and drove the 30 minutes back home. The girls were disappointed that we had to leave, but we promised to do it another time and they were fine with that.

As we are getting back in the car, Ashley dramatically says, "I have a bad cold. I'm not feeling good also." She was perfectly fine but was just needing some sick attention as well. What a pill that little one it :)

So our Saturday morning ended with watching a movie we has rented from the library. And the girls LOVED it! :)

Jalapeno's with the Kansas City Fimmen side

Last Friday night Papa treated us all the Jalapeno's. It was super yummy!!! And since we all ate such good dinner, the kids got treated to treats at the candy shop :) YUM YUM!

2 back to back playdates

The end of last week, Anna's social life was at an all time high :)

She went to her friend Anna Schieber's house after preschool on Thursday (Anna's mom even picked her up) and then had her friend Kendall over Friday morning for 4 hours!

She had so much fun at both and keeps talking about having more friends over. At the other Anna's house they had a tea party (her friend Lainey was also there), ate lunch, played outside, make cupcakes, painted nails, played with these flying fairy things and I guess they did a lot of giggling! This play date was a big deal because it was the first time Anna went to a playdate without me being there and she can't wait to go back! Anna's mom said she did great and was super talkative and super sweet.

Then Friday morning we had Kendall come over last minute to help her mommy out. They played Frozen (sang and danced like crazy!), played in the basement, made a mosaic craft tiara, had lots of yummy snacks and then loaded into my car and went to open gym (where we meet Cooper and Lainey Jones). Then the day continued with Kendall and her mom with lunch and shopping at Costco. It was awesome!!!!!

So awesome that the next day Anna took a 2 1/2 hour nap. Being social and having fun sure is tiring :)

Picnic Time!

Sunday marked our first family picnic of Spring!!!!! We packed a lunch and headed to Arendelle (Black Bob park) to show Daddy the "most favorite park EVER!!!!" We had a blast the entire two hours we were there :)

Photo Idea

This past week ile taking Anna and Abby's monthly pictures, Ashley yells, "All of us!!!" Anna comes running, "Yeah, all of us!!!! Abby in the middle!" So I went ahead and gave it a shot.... and after many failed and funny photos got a great sister shot :) We had lots of fun laughing at all the funny ones- especially the expressions on Anna's face and how Abby blocks Ashley in one of them.
