Monkey See, Monkey Do!

Here we are in our Happy Halloween outfits! Anna went to school that morning but only the preschoolers dress up and have a parade. the Mother Day out Kids get to watch the parade and have a Halloween party without costumes. So we wore the cutest ghost outfit ever- inherited from Kate of course! And Ashley picked out a Daddy bones shirt (also inherited from Kate!). Here is my attempt at a cute sister photo but of course Anna would do something, Ashley would look at her and then Ashley would copy.  It was non stop. But that is life now; one huge game of monkey see, monkey do!

Anna was very upset about how Chippy the chipmunk helped himself to eat out Minnie's face. (She was trying to do a frown and thumbs down!)

Plasma car

We LOVE Kate's plasma car. It is the first thing we run to at her house and we are on it forever. We even take turns and both ride on it together. We can't wait to go to her house on Saturday and play with it and our first sleepover while mommy and daddy go to two weddings. We hope we get one of these cars for Christmas!

Halloween Pumpkin Mask

I was so lucky. I had Mother's Day Out ON Halloween! We got to watch the preschoolers parade and we made this awesome pumpkin glitter mask that I just LOVE!!!! I think the curly hair on top is so funny! Aren't I just the cutest pumpkin????

Pottery Barn Kids Story Time

We had been to Pottery Barn Story Time a handful of times but this past Tuesday's was special; it was a Halloween story time. So of course we dressed up and met Grama and Kate at Pottery Barn Kids for another Halloween festivity. We listened to 3 Halloween books, got candy and even went on a parade to Williams Sonoma were we got to decorate a Halloween cookie. Then we got really cool coloring pages and masks to take home, along with some candy. We had a blast!

 Ashley's smart and knows the best part... the icing!!!! And Anna liked to eat her's like a dog (below!)

Price Chopper Halloween Party

This past Friday we went to the Price Chopper Halloween Party. They had a coloring table for the kids, a raffle to win an ipod shuffle (we didn't win) and trick or treating around the store. The girls had to find the black and orange balloons, walk up to them and say trick or treat. they got a little bit of candy, a string cheese stick, a granola bar and an apple. They had fun finding the balloons throughout the store in their costumes!

 

They had a cake walk at the store. Ashley was the lucky winner and promised to share it with us all later that night for dessert.

 She was pretty proud of it.

It was a nice free activity that got us out of the house for an hour or so an into the Halloween spirit!
