Walker

We are calling it official! Ashley is walking most of the time when she wants to get from place to place, so we officially have a walker! Just shy of 11 months; she had her first steps around the 10 month mark! She is really taking off and pretty soon she'll be running after her sister :) Way to go Ashley :)

Happy Birthday to Me!

If you know me, then you know how much I LOVE my birthday! Daddy gave mommy the best gift ever; taking my birthday eve afternoon off (last Thursday) of work to be with the girls so mommy could spend the afternoon without the responsibilities of being a mommy. It was a nice break but I was ready to see them come dinner time. I met my sister and mom at the Plaza for lunch and some afternoon shopping- perfect day to walk around outside! Then we ended the birthday eve with the traditional plaza happy hour at Brio (awesome!!!!) My parents, grandma, the Horton's and the Aaron Stilley's all came to have a couple of drinks and some good food! Cheers to #13 of consecutive Birthday Plaza Happy Hour's of fun!

 

 It was hard getting some certain little girl to want to take pictures that night......

 

But Ashley was CHEESING it up BIG time for us :)

Favorite Place

Distinguished....

Or just getting plain old?!?!?! I can't believe my husband likes to sip scotch and that we are allowed to do it out of nice Waterford crystal glasses!!

Could this picture look any more relaxing? Kids asleep, full bellies from an amazing Christmas dinner and dessert, Christmas tree lights on, lying on the floor on a pillow amongst family talking and laughing and drinking Lucy Goosey with your gift exchange present of yummy Trader Joe's sweet on your belly?

The Day After Christmas

... is for playing with toys (old and new ones), being lazy, taking naps, showing the house (WHAT? Yeah, can you believe it? Let's just hope they want to buy it!) and ordering Chinese for take-out (might be one of our new Christmas traditions!!!!)

Fimmen Christmas 1

 After Gigi's brunch, we all took naps (oh wait Anna forgot to take one and talked continuously in her pack n play for almost 2 hours.... someone was hyped up just.a.bit!!!!) and then woke up to play. We went on a walk, played hide and go seek, played with the Christmas toys we all brought over from the morning, the adults played Dominos and we ate. Grama and Papa fixed a delicious beef tenderloin and we had homemade ice cream for dessert. The kids had their gift exchange and then when we went to bed, the adults had there's. Apparently it was really funny because mommy kept opening the really good presents that would get stolen right away from her! But she didn't mind; she got a really good smelling candle and daddy got a basket of sweet treats from Trader Joe's-yum!

We will celebrate our real Christmas on New Year's Day when the Fimmen's get in town... Can't wait! And for some reason I think mommy will take a lot more pics then she did during our first Christmas!
