Cabin Fever
GET. ME. OUT. OF. HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Between 2 REALLY bad colds full of snotty noses and bad coughs, below freezing temperatures (and below zero!) and snow higher then my nose, Mommy and I have spent about 99% of the last month inside..... SAVE US! We consider going to the doctor's a TREAT! :)
Love,
Anna

"OHhhhhhh!"
A couple months ago, it meant "Oh Christmas Tree," and now it means the Star Spangled Banner.
Yes- my favorite song right now is the Star Spangled Banner. I heard it for the first time while we were watching the NFL ProBowl last week. I REALLY like to hula dancers who danced with the song too.... I liked them so much that not only do I say "Ohhhhhh" when I want to hear the song, but I put my arms in the air and wave them around like hula dancers too. Mommy and daddy know EXACTLY what I want then!
See for yourself- it's awesome!!

Snowmagedon
We survived it!
I wish I could say we had a blast playing in the snow as a family and that we built a snowman and went sledding...... Rob got home early the day the Blizzard hit so we had the time...... but with Anna's horrible cough and cold and with Rob and I coming down with one, we didn't make it out in the snow. BOO! It looks as though we may have some time to play in it the next couple of days as the foot of snow melts! That is if we are felling well.
Cabin fever has set in.... good thing Anna is such a good girl. The house is torn apart- she has gotten into EVERY space possible that a 3 foot little person with an amazingly long stretch can possible get into. I have brought out toys that I have been saving for days that we are cooped up in the house. Let's just say that when 4:00 hits, mommy is REALLY ready for daddy to get home :) And add being pregnant to the list..... I wn't even start!
Much Love and hope you are surviving Snowpocolypse too!

38 weeks
Feeling EXTREMELY uncomfortable and ready to deliver this baby. Ashley is putting pressure on my lower belly and back and the pain is at times excrutiating. Most of the day I am laying down watching Anna play and I feel so bad for her that mommy is so boring.
I have started to experience more frequent contractions- especially those in my lower back. They are frequent enough that I thought I was beginning labor yesterday and called my doctors practice and they told me to come to the hospital to labor and delivery!!! Apparently false contractions happen more with each pregnancy compared to the first (I never really had contractions of any type with Anna.) We went to labor and delivery and was greeted by the same nurse who delivered Anna and she took us to the same room where we delivered Anna. It felt really nice to see the nurse we loved so much- Anna even got to meet her- she was super helpful and monitored the baby and I for about an hour. She agreed that I was having some REAL contractions but they were too far apart to be considered labor. Plus I wasn't dilated enough. FALSE ALARM!
So, here we are, back at home waiting to get this baby out of me. At least the false alarm last night resulted in Chick-Fil-a for dinner... totally worth it! :)
Anna has had a cold for the past several days (really back cough) and guess who woke up today feeling like she's coming down with something.... yes.... me. Hopefully I don't get it near as bad as Anna- she still sounds horrible when she coughs.
Well, off to go blow my nose and then to bed at 8:15.... I'm exhausted!
