Hiking and Walking

Hanging out at the "Number Ball" House

Colorado

For Grammy and Poppy Stilley's 40th Wedding Anniversary, Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Laura, Uncle Aaron, cousin Henry, Aunt Megan and Uncle Jeff joined Grammy and Poppy in Breckenridge, Colorado for a week of fun!

I had never seen mountains before and I LOVED them! We stayed at a really cool house and I loved pointing out to everyone all the ceiling fans, the pictures and stuffed BIG animals (I really liked the bear), the lights, and the trees outside!

Here are the highlights to my trip!
*Met my Great Uncle Bobby and Great Aunt Ruby Riggs for the first time. I LOVED looking at Great Uncle Bobby's beard!
*Went on my first family hike AND my first hike alone with Daddy. I REALLY liked hiking on his back :)
*Went on my first bike ride from Breckenridge to Frisco, CO in a trailer with Henry attached to Daddy's bike. I enjoyed it so much that I fell asleep.
*Helped Daddy play put put (mommy won!) on a mountain and watched Daddy slide down a HUGE mountain slide called the alpine slide. He said it was REALLY cool!
*Crawled up ALL the stairs in the house-there were 5 stair cases!!!!
*Played baseball with Henry.
*Taking a walk in town and along the rivers. I LOVE water!
*Took my first steps while trying to get Cheerios from Poppy's hand
*Went on my first train ride- the Georgetown Loop and on my first tour of a mine. I didn't really like the hard hat!
*Went on my first Gondola ride. I.ABSOLUTELY.LOVED.IT! I loved watching the other gondolas, the trees and the cars drive below us!
*Rode on my first bus from Frisco to Breckenridge. LOVED looking out the windows there too!
*And I loved spending a WHOLE 9 days with Daddy not at work!
*mommy and Daddy wanted me to add all the good food Aunt Megan and Uncle Jeff made :)

Mommy and Daddy were so proud of me in the car ride to and from CO that they told me ANYTIME I wanted to go back, we could. YIPEEEE!!!

Grandma's Birthday Dinner

The night before we left for our Colorado trip, we got to go out to eat for Grandma's birthday! We went to Garozzo's and had so much fun! I REALLY like their bread and ate WAY TOO MUCH for being such a little girl :) It is so yummy!

Kissing Cousins!!!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

My first steps

While I was in Colorado this past week, I took my first steps. EVERYONE went CRAZY and that made me SO excited!!!

Daddy was helping me stand and Poppy was holding Cheerios in his hand. AND. I. LOVE. CHEERIOS. Meaning = I would do ANYTHING to get Cheerios. The first time, I took 2 steps and got to the Cheerios. The second time I took off, took two steps, ate a couple Cheerios while still standing and then took 4 more steps to get MORE Cheerios. Everyone was so proud of me!

I have taken a couple of steps since then but this video (my second time) has been my best steps! Enjoy!

Me and my SPOON!

Yep! The time has come and mommy and daddy have started letting me try to eat with a spoon.

They have to put the spoon in my hand and help me fill it with food but once that is all done, I can put it in my mouth! I have done it with hummus, apple sauce and oatmeal. I get pretty messy but don't mind it one bit!!! I can't wait until they let me eat EVERYTHING on my own :)

Mimic

I LOVE to mimic people!

When I was in Colorado (that post is coming soon) I loved watching Henry play pretend drums and I would bang on the table to play with him. It was so much fun and I would get SO excited!! I also stared a couple weeks ago coughing when ANYONE coughs and laughing when ANYONE laughs... it is pretty funny :)

I also LOVE giving kisses. I give kisses whenever someone says "kiss", "I love you," "Goodbye," "Goodnight," and throughout my favorite song, Snugglepuppy. She loves it when she says goodnight to me, when I am in my crib, and I look up at her and give her kisses. She says it's her favorite thing I do.

I am also starting to sign "More." It is pretty inconsistent but between that sign and my amazing facial expressions, mommy ALWAYS knows what I want!

And my newest trick..... tell me to put "hands on head" and I do it! I learned this while we were out to eat in Colorado. Sometimes I get confused and put my hands on my face though :)

Anna
