Eventful night
All within one hour....
Our Dining Room table broke.... Rob pressed on the table to help him get out of his chair to go and get seconds of dinner and CRACK! The base cracked in two different places. We ate dinner with caution and no one got hurt. As the table cracked I swear I saw in Rob's eyes both panic and dollar signs thinking, "Oh crap! Jenny's gonna want to buy a new one." I reassured him that we did not need to buy a replacement anytime soon.... just one step closer to my dining room set (and hutch) that I have always dreamed of!
Then we had to make Peanut vomit.... I had put a bag of Brazil nuts in my diaper bag and Peanut found them and ate around 15 Brazil nuts.... I started panicing thinking that they were toxic and that he was going to die a slow painful death or that it was going to require another $200 trip to the vet. But we lucked out! We called the emergnecy vet and they told us they were not toxic and then asked if I had ever made a dog vomit (ummm... no). They told me to squirt 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide down his throat and let him heave it all up (sounds fun, huh?) 5 minutes later, Peanut was puking his guts out into a bowl while I sat by his side reassuring him that I did this to him because I loved him. 10 minutes later, he was fine and dandy and asleep on the couch. I thanked our vet for helping us out with yet another Peanut trauma and then headed to Price Chopper.
I drove around Price Chopper for 5 minutes before finding a parking spot and then had to fight off the other people in the meat department getting the "weekend specials."
Crazy night... I need a drink!
Much Love,
Jenny

OMG!
OMG OMG OMG!!! OMG OMG OMG!!!! Anna just rolled over 15 minutes ago!!!!! Not just once but 5 times!!! OMG OMG OMG!!!
We were doing some tummy time (which she hates after a couples minutes) and out of the blue she put her arm out in front of her and rolled over her left side, tummy to back! I completely lost it- you would have thought she won a Grammy or an Oscar for best stunt performance in a movie. OMG.... it was amazing! And then, we did tummy time again and then she did the same thing but over her right side!! I lost it- tears, shrieks, soccer mom chants, HUSKY cheers, you name it, I did it! And then I ran up to get the video camera just HOPING she would do it again for the record and she did not disappoint! She rolled over her left side 3 more times!!! I was too late getting the first two because she would roll over RIGHT when placed on her belly but I was really lucky the capture the last roll. OMG OMG OMG!!! Enjoy!
Much Love and OMG Rolling,

4 month well visit!
Mommy and Daddy took me to see Dr. Austin for my 4 month well visit yesterday. I was a very good girl, but cried when the nurse took me out of my mommy's arms to weigh me, cried when Dr. Austin took me away from Daddy and cried after I got my shots (1drink and 2 shots in my thigh)- they hurt so much!!!
Dr. Austin was very impressed with me. She was impressed by me "sitting up," my early formed stranger anxiety, my high cheekbones and chubby cheeks and, most importantly, my growth- she said I was going to be tall like Daddy (Mommy is keeping her fingers crossed!!) Dr. Austin told us that finger suckers (I suck my pointer and middle on both hands) outgrow the sucking usually before thumb suckers and pacifier babies do. They felt pretty relived to hear that- I guess I inherited the finger sucking from my Grandma Fimmen; she was also a two finger sucking gal as well!
Here are the numbers that Mommy wants me to share with everyone!
Weight: 14 lbs, 3 oz (70th %tile)
Length: 26 inches (97th %tile)
Head Circumference: 16 inches (50th %tile)
So, I am a tall giant for my age and that REALLY made Mommy excited. She called Grandpa and told him that there is an up and coming All-State basketball center and All-State volleyball outside hitter in the family. Grandpa said he would be the assistant coach..... I just laugh at all their dreaming :)
I go back at 6 months for a lot more shots. When do these things end?!?!?! Daddy says that they hurt now but that they can keep me from getting sick when I am older. And since I believe EVERYTHING that Daddy says, I guess I'll put up with the pain.... as long as mommy and daddy are there to spoil and comfort me after with lots of hugs and kisses!!!
Mommy and Daddy keep telling everyone that they are very proud parents....
......What can I say.... I'm perfect in every way! :)

Anna
