That's the WALSH in you!
Lately, I have become EXTREMELY social! I coo and babble at all my toys, my play gym, books, stuffed animals and mommy and daddy. Sometimes I talk so much that I interrupt mommy and daddy and don't pause to let them say anything. I am a little girl with A LOT on my mind!
Tonight, I wouldn't stop talking and my daddy looked at me and said, "Kiddo, looks like you inherited that from the Walsh side." My mommy asked, "Inherited what?" And daddy said, "Inherited the fact that she doesn't stop talking!!!!" Mommy thought this was super funny and knows my Grama's brothers and sisters will love to hear that! I can't wait to meet all the Walsh's someday!

Anna

Clothes
Not only did my cousin Kate lend me LOTS of hats, but she also let me borrow TONS of clothes! Having an older girl cousin who lives in your same city is awesome!!! Some of the clothes I have borrowed from my cousin, she got from our friend in California, Kate Larson. I also LOVE wearing her clothes!!! Thanks Kate!
I also got a lot of clothes as gifts and love every outfit!!! And of course my mommy did an awesome job shopping for my wardrobe at garage sales and at end of season sales at Old Navy, Target, Baby Gap, Costco and Grama's favorite, Kohl's. She already has all my stuff I need for next winter- she's on the ball!!! Daddy says I have a larger wardrobe then he does..... get used to it old man!!! :)
Here is a picture of me in one of Kate Larson's old outfits- it's a VERY warm and comfy one!!

Oh and talking about clothes... I absolutely HATE socks- they ALWAYS fall off of my feet! Aunt Anne bought me these sock holder things that you slip on over your socks (mommy says they work pretty well) but what a hassle- why can't my feet like socks?!?!?!

Brrrrr......
New Years Eve
During the day on New Years Eve, mommy and I ran lots of errands (to Baby Gap and Target where we got lots of fun stuff for super deals on Clearance!!) and then went to mommy's friend Stephanie's house for a yummy lunch. Since Stephanie is a ballerina, I wore my tutu outfit to show off! While there I got to meet Stephanie's mom, Teresa, see Stephanie and Kelly again AND meet a dog named Betty. It was so much fun!

Then after that, we went to Aunt Anne's house to watch the MU bowl game. Daddy was the only one who really watched it and I watched a little with him. Grama and Papa came over and we had a great prime rib dinner and played lots of games. I even did some tummy time with Kate and mommy and daddy were very proud of how good I did at it! I am actually starting to not hate it as much.... but don't get me wrong- I still hate it!

Daddy was getting tired so we got home to our house around 10:45. Mommy was super excited to watch some ball drop in New York as a family for the first time but instead we watched the first world record of 2010 happen on ESPN. Some guy drove off a ramp and flew in his car over 250 feet! It was crazy! Daddy and I thought it was so cool; mommy on the other hand really didn't.
I can't wait til New Year's Eve next year- maybe mommy and daddy will let me stay up even later!

I have failed...
I have failed as a mother.... I have failed as a KU fan.....
I don't think there is anything I can do or say to make up for what you are about to see....

Yes, that's my daughter (who my ill-advised husband is trying to brainwash) and yes that's a 11 1/2 foot flag in my front yard (thanks to my KU blooded sister-in-law Carolyn- what were you thinking???) on New Year's Eve during MU's bowl game (which they lost)..... somebody, anybody help me!
Much Love and yes I still Rock Chalk,
Jenny
