Uh Oh

Well this is a first. And hopefully the last.

Apparently she is not supposed to talk in the hallway so when the boy told her to move in line she couldn't because the girl in front of her wasn't moving. But since she couldn't tell him that, since it was against the rules to talk in the halls, she hit him instead.....

Oh boy. I have no worries for Abby's future- the girl can stand up for herself just fine. For now, we have to learn to play by the rules.

Anna's Birthday

Sunday Anna turned 9.

She came in to cuddle with us and as I hugged my baby girl Daddy says, "Wow Anna. Halfway to college." Then tears started welling up in my eyes. I am usually not one to be sad over a birthday but this one hit me right in the gut!!!!

Happy birthday to my most favorite 9 year old in the world!

We celebrated with church, lunch at Cheesecake Factory with Googah and Papa, presents and first half of Chiefs at Googah and Papa's, shopping for her birthday discount necklace at Kendra Scott with Mommy, volleyball practice and a family walk (nibbles included).

It was a great day!

Anna's 9th Birthday Party

Last Friday we celebrated Anna's birthday with a cabin camp out at Ironwoods Park with 8 of her closest (or as she called them BFF's) friends.

It was a perfect ed with bunny cuddles, crafts, M.A.S.H games, an outdoor movie, yummy food, great snacks, friends, family, hikes and so much more. Happy Birthday Anna!
