TOUCHDOWN!

Whenever I see a football or when someone says football, I throw my arms up in the air and give the touchdown sign! I also love picking up a football and throwing it right back down on the ground and show touchdown! Daddy is so proud of me :)

Whenever I see football on the TV (pretty much every Sunday and some Saturdays) I throw both arms into the air to say touchdown! Everything thinks I'm so smart :)

TOTALLY just got told by blogger that I have run out of space to store pictures on my blog.... or buy some space. But space on blogger??? Ha! Who would have thought that I would run out!?!?!

So, let the deleting begin!

I went back to my oldest blog and found that I have written over 490 blogs in the past 2 years.... AMAZING! Good thing I have the first year all printed into a book because the blogs are being erased.... sniff... sniff!

Library

I went to the library for the first time this past weekend and WHY DIDN'T ANYONE TELL ME ABOUT THIS PLACE?!?!?!

I LOVE the chairs! Chairs EVERYWHERE! Big, small, tall, short. Chairs made for every person. Forget the books, I am in chair heaven! Mommy and daddy couldn't stop me from climbing and trying out pretty much every chair in that place.

I can't wait until we get to go back!

13 months old!

Here is what has been keeping this 13 month old busy for the last month!!!

-Say "Where's Anna's ears?" I grab my ears and even point to other peoples ears. I think I have told you, but I also do this with my toes, head, belly and knees.
-I love my stuffed animal "Lambie." When mommy takes a peek into my room during nap time I am always hugging Lambie while sleeping.
- When there is not more food, when I can't find something, when I am looking for something, when you say "uh oh" or "where is _____?" I put my hands up to my face (like Home alone) and open my eyes and mouth really wide!
- I have been drinking whole milk and YUM YUM YUM! I am also bottle free! I LOVE my butterfly sippy cups that mommy let me buy at Babies R Us. I picked out the purple, pink and teal ones all by myself!
-I am starting to point at objects in books when asked. I can point out fish, banana, dog, monkey, ball, balloon so far (maybe a couple others but I can't remember!)
-I love humming to myself. I love humming "ah a ahhhh, ah a ah ahhhhhh!" from The Little Mermaid. (Cousin Kate taught me this!) I also love humming Snugglepuppy with mommy.
-A say "BOO" when asked what a ghost says and sometimes when I play peekaboo. I also make a fishy noise by putting my fingers up and down on my lips when I see a fish or asked what one says.I also say "ba" when I see bananas and "buh" when I see butterflies.
-I love running around the house with a blanket on my head. Mommy and daddy get REALLY nervous.
-My favorite thing to say is "yeah" and "oh yeah!" I usually say it after someone asks me a question so they think I am super brilliant! I also say it while shaking my head up and down.
-I LOVE outside! I sit in front of the door and whine to get outside. MOST of the time I get my way!
-I LOVE swings and playgrounds! When I step outside my house I can see a school playground and I rock like I am swinging and then I whine and point to it. I also love to slide down slides! when we leave playgrounds I wave bye to them.
-I am brushing my teeth just about every morning and night (sometimes mommy and daddy forget). I am using toddler toothpaste and LOVE it!
-When I am in the car my favorite thing to do is take both shoes off and then, if I have time, my socks. Mommy does not think this is very funny and says next time we aren't getting velcro shoes- we'll see!
-I love to pull mommy's shirt up to see her big belly. I love to give sister Ashley kisses and ding dong mommy's belly button.
-I still love giving kisses to people. My favorite thing is to give kisses back and forth to mommy and daddy- they think I am so cute :)
-I am always hugging and kissing Peanut- I LOVE him!
-I started this weird wave where I wave bye to both myself and others! One hand is facing out and the other is facing me, both waving!
-I am REALLY good at signing "more" and use it about 50 times a day! I have just started signing "milk" to help mommy know when I am thirsty.
-I can eat with a spoon! Hummus and applesauce- i love to dip the spoon and put it in my mouth all by myself. I get REALLY proud of myself and actually don't make TOO much of a mess :) As for the fork, mommy still needs to help me grab the food with the prongs, but I get the idea and can't wait to be able to do it myself!
-I love to climb on just about ANYTHING!!!! I love chairs- especially rocky rock ones- they just might be my favorite thing right now; even cooler then balls!
-I am sleeping great through the night; going to bed around 7:30ish and waking around 6:30-7. I am napping well- around 2 1/2 hours total when I take 2 naps (which is mostly the case) but the last week or so, I have been trying trying to skip my second nap (when I do this my first nap is usually over and hour and a half) and sometimes I am successful at skipping it. Mommy still puts me in my crib though for about 45 minutes though.

I sure am growing up!

Ashley Margaret

Yep! It's official!

We have officially decided on a full name for Baby Stilley....

Ashley Margaret!

I had said earlier that Ashley stands for ash meadow; Margaret stands for pearl.

The name Margaret is pretty common on my side- both my grandmother's were named Margaret and my sister's middle name is Margaret. I love that both my girl's name will have some sort of family origin.

We can't wait to meet the "ash meadow pearl!"

My first Jewelry

I just LOVE taking my stacking rings and wearing them around like bracelets. They look SO cool! I love to show them off and when the little red one doesn't fit on my wrist, BOY do I get angry :)

First Chores

I am such a good helper that I already have been assigned chores! I get to put rolls of toilet paper in the toilet paper tower by the toilet (and take them out, and put them back in and take them out.....) AND I help mommy unload the dryer (and put things in, and then out, and then back in). I do such a good job at unloading that dryer that I need no help at all... I can get all the clothes out on my own! And then I help put things in the laundry basket (and then unfold all of mommy's stuff in the basket). Mommy says I need work on that chore! Come-on lady- I'm only 13 months old :)

Mommy and daddy are very proud of me! I'm such a good girl!

Pumpkin Patch

Last Saturday, Mommy, Daddy, Grammy, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Anne, Uncle Todd, Kate and I went to a pumpkin patch at the Louisburg Cider Mill. We all had so much fun!

Apple Cider (yum), apple cider doughnuts (super yum), soft pretzel (oh.my.gosh.i.now.know.why.mommy.loves.these!), a wagon, pumpkins and a perfect day! We had a blast- another reason that Halloween is my favorite :)

tick tock clock

I LOVE "tick tock clock" and ANY crazy horse play! After each time, I ask (sign) for more or I throw my body back showing that I MEAN MORE!!! Mommy and Daddy think that I'm one CRAZY girl!

Pack N Play CRAZIES!

I LOVE the Pack N Play!

A couple of weeks ago, it was set up in mom and dad's room for cousin Kate to use during the day. When she wasn't using it, pillows were thrown in there and I too got thrown in there... and that is when my love for pack N plays started!

Now my Pack N Play is packed up, but Grandma's is out ALL. THE. TIME. Which means Pack N Play craziness EVERY time I go there! After my naps, Kate jumps in with me; after Kate's naps, I jump in with her. We go crazy in there and we laugh so hard. I throw my body on her and she just laughs. We also give each other nap kisses through the mesh walls... oh i love it!

I love playing in the Pack N Play.... I can't wait until it's set up for Ashley and I can go crazy with her!!

Bye bye bottles!

I can't believe this day has come... WE ARE BOTTLE FREE!!!

It is both a happy and sad time around the Stilley household. Mommy is VERY happy to not be hand washing bottles anymore. Daddy is sad to not be giving Anna her evening bottle (now she gets an evening sippy cup of milk with daddy).

I can't really tell how Anna feels- she likes her sippy cup but she doesn't drink near as much milk out of it as she did in her bottles. She seems pretty satisfied (except she barely drinks much milk) when I give her a sippy cup instead of a bottle and she doesn't ask for "baba" anymore. I think my baby girl is growing up!~

I can't believe how big she is getting. This is like the last official. OK. My Baby IS. NOT. A. BABY. ANYMORE!

Ashley's nursery!

Here is a sneak peak into Ashley's nursery! I bought the bedding last week and am working on finding a rug.

Our walls are beige; the curtains are pink with white polka dots and the crib is white. We are going to paint my old dresser (which is my parents old dresser) a pale pink! Can't wait!

Don't worry- I will post pictures as we work on it :)

ASHLEY

After looking at thousands of baby girl names on the internet, we have finally decided on a name for our baby girl!

ASHLEY!

Ashley is a favorite of both Rob and mine and we can not wait to name our daughter it. It means "ash meadow." I am not sure as what that really implies in a name, but we love it anyways! Plus all the Ashley's I have ever met have been super awesome and nice, so we think we might have ourselves a winner :)

We were also considering Emma, Leah and Margaret (Maggie)- which all three had some link to family names- but went with our initial favorite of Ashley.

As for the middle name.... we are still debating between Elizabeth and Margaret. We'll let you know when the name is final!

Oh.... I can't wait to meet this little bundle :)

Zoo

Last week I went to the zoo with mommy, Kate, Henry and Uncle Aaron. It was raining so we just got to see the polar bear (awesome!) and some monkeys! I got so excited to see the monkeys! We had so much fun and I kept laughing at Henry doing his "zoo dance!"

In and Out

I love climbing in and out of baskets. I sometimes get stuck and get REALLY frusterated and have the cry for mommy or daddy's help. But most of the time, i can do it on my own.

Price Chopper

Price Chopper by Grandma and Grandpa's house is SO cool!

Mommy took Kate and I there a while ago and you won't believe what they have!!!!

Shopping carts MY SIZE! Kate and I shared the shopping cart and we put all of mommy's groceries in it! Kate let me push is down an aisle ALL by myself. Then mommy let us push the cart out to the parking lot and since there were no cars driving in it, we got to play with it a little longer outside. I LOVE that grocery store!

Favorite Toy

I have lots of favorite toys but I go CRAZY when I see balls!

Big, small, red, or blue, it doesn't matter; I love them all :) I also LOVE my baseball bat!

The other day at Toys R Us we were walking around the store and I got so excited and screamed at the top of my lungs (it was pretty loud) "BALLLLLLL!!!!" Mommy looked around and sure enough I was looking at a HUGE bin of balls! We both laughed and mommy let me play with them for a little bitt.

I have just started doing this when I have an uh-oh, or when all my food is gone, or when I can't find something. Mommy and daddy think I am super cute when I do it- especially when my mouth is opened and shaped like an O!

Daddy's Birthday Weekend

We celebrated Daddy's birthday ALL last weekend and had a BLAST!

We ate waffles for breakfast, pizza for lunch, burgers for dinner and of course the traditional Blueberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake for dessert.... YUMMM! I even had my first vanilla ice cream cone after dinner! I loved the place where we ate dinner- Foster's Grille- it had the best patio EVER! Since mommy, daddy and I were the only ones outside, I got to run around like a CRAZY monkey! I can't wait to go back to that place!

We played at our house, went to the zoo and saw lots of animals including a HUGE polar bear, painted a picture with daddy, watched the MU game and opened gifts. I even got to wear my new MU pants that Aunt Laura made me! The next day we went to Grammy and Poppy's to celebrate with them and Aunt Laura, Uncle Aaron and Henry. We had tons of fun!

I can't wait for another birthday weekend- I REALLY like birthdays :)

Daddy's Gift

For Daddy's Birthday, I painted him a picture!

Mommy bought some non toxic paint (she thought I was going to eat it or something) and a 12x12 canvas. Then I got to work with daddy!

 I did NOT like my fingers blue- it scared me just a bit :)
